This silent weekend retreat, held in late summer, will focus on discovering an inner refuge which rests on the ground of our being. We will draw on the support of nature, and particularly the beautiful mountains surrounding Mont Fleur, to gather and stabilize our attention through meditation practices which integrate body, heart and mind.
Through the cultivation of calm and tranquility, we will discover that an embodied awareness can heal the fragmentation that arises from living with fear, clinging and distracted thinking. As we direct ourselves to an awareness of the present moment, we learn how to centre ourselves with kindness, compassion and wisdom.
This retreat is suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators. The weekend includes teachings from the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, as well as guided meditations in all postures, qigong movement meditation, and optional yoga and aromatherapy massages to enhance the experience of embodied integration.
