Sat 23rd (6pm) – Tuesday 26th (2pm) or Wed 27th (11am) April 2016
Bodhi Khaya, near Standford W. Cape.
To make this retreat more financially accessible, the overall cost has been reduced and there is now the option to attend for 3 or 4 nights!
This retreat, which is suitable for both beginner and experienced meditators, will begin with supper at 6pm on Saturday 23rd April, although you are welcome to arrive after lunch to settle in and enjoy the beauty of Bodhi Khaya before we enter into a nurturing and containing atmosphere of contemplative silence in the evening.
Through the practice of meditation and the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, we will discover ways to move beyond our habitual, fear-based patterns of thinking and behaving. When we embrace our humanness with compassionate awareness, we can move beyond shame and the curse of perfectionism, discovering that the possibility of freedom lies in the next breath!
This silent retreat includes sitting and walking meditations, daily sessions of Qigong movement meditation, as well as yoga and aromatherapy massages, to enhance the integration of body, heart and mind. There will be short, individual sessions with Sue, as well as time for restorative rest and silent walks in the beautiful fynbos and forests of Bodhi Khaya.
Those leaving after 3 nights will have an opportunity to break silence after lunch on Tuesday 26th, whilst the others continue with their silent practice.
