This weekend retreat, held in a nurturing and containing atmosphere of contemplative silence, will focus on discovering how to relate to ourselves and each other with greater kindness and clarity, so that we can learn to love wisely.
Through the practice of meditation and the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, we will learn to embrace our humanness with greater compassion, so that we can establish a more secure sense of self with healthier boundaries between self and other. This frees our relationships from the projections which usually confuse our communications. Our meditation practice enables us to ground ourselves in an embodied awareness that is present and open-hearted, creating the conditions for loving wisely. Yoga and Qigong will be offered to enhance the integration of body, heart and mind.
This silent retreat is suitable for individuals and couples wanting to explore what it means to live a life of meaningful connection and compassionate action.
