This 3-night retreat (starting on Thursday 27th October) will be held in a contained and nurturing atmosphere of Noble Silence. The practice of meditation, informed by the deep wisdom of Buddhist psychology teaches us how to embrace life, rather than brace against it. As we move beyond our fear-based patterns of conditioning, opening our hearts through compassionate listening, we will discover that the possibility of freedom lies in the next breath!
This silent retreat includes sitting and walking meditations, daily sessions of Qigong movement meditation to enhance the integration of body, heart and mind and short, individual sessions with Sue.
There will also be time for restorative rest, as well as for silent walks in the beautiful and magical gardens of the BRC.
For those wanting to deepen this transformative process, this retreat will be followed by An Integrated Awakening retreat with Sue at Dharmagiri Insight Meditation Centre, an hour away from the BRC, from Sunday 30 October – Saturday 5 November 2016. Please book each retreat separately and please notify Sue if you require transport (at approximately R250 per person) from the BRC on Sunday 30th October for the 2nd retreat.
