Somersault House Sue Cooper

Embodied Awareness

We will reflect on the importance of grounding ourselves psychologically through establishing an embodied awareness in our meditation practice. This creates the conditions for tranquillity (calm) and insight (understanding). The teachings on Mindfulness of the Body will inform our meditations.

In addition to guided meditations and teachings around a different theme each month, the half-day retreats include a session of Qigong (Chi Kung), an ancient gentle movement meditation which greatly enhances our experience of the integration of body, heart and mind. Suitable for newcomers to this approach, as well as an opportunity for those who have attended Sue’s courses and retreats to deepen their practice with the support of others.

CPD accreditation: 3 General CEUs have been granted.

Cost: Please pay whatever you can manage from the sliding scale of R450/500/R550.

Whilst the full rate is greatly appreciated, the sliding scale is offered to make these events more accessible and further reductions are available on request.

Deposit: R100 confirms your booking and the balance is due on the day please, either by EFT or cash.
