This weekend retreat, held in a nurturing and containing atmosphere of contemplative silence, will focus on the cultivation of life-affirming qualities of mind and heart which support the development of courage and self-confidence, necessary for growth and discovery. We will draw on the Spring theme of new beginnings to inspire and encourage fearlessness in the face of change and uncertainty.
In addition to sitting, reclining and walking meditations there will be daily sessions of Chi Kung (Qigong) movement meditation, as well as optional yoga and aromatherapy massages to enhance the integration of body, heart and mind. Sue will also offer short individual sessions. There will be time for rest and silent walks, and delicious vegetarian and vegan meals will be savoured in silence. Welcome the season of Spring with awareness and silent celebration!
This silent retreat is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced meditators.
