This daylong retreat, held in a nurturing atmosphere of contemplative silence at this stunning venue near Stellenbosch, is an opportunity to welcome the year with kind and compassionate awareness. The teachings and practices are inspired by the wisdom and ethics of Buddhist psychology and 6 Ethics CEUs will be offered to those registered with the HPCSA.
When we quieten the inner-critic and learn how to relate to ourselves with kindness and compassion, we discover ways of "giving our all without giving ourselves away" (the words of Mark Nepo). This facilitates self-care, as well as the establishment of healthy boundaries in all our relationships, both personal and professional, enabling us to relate with open-hearted compassion in a more sustainable way.
In addition to the Dharma teachings, the day will include guided sitting, walking and reclining meditations, as well as qigong movement meditation, which will enhance our awareness of the body through connecting with the elements in Nature. A delicious 2 course vegetarian/vegan lunch, as well as teas, will be savoured in silence, as part of our integrated practice
CPD accreditation for psychologists and other HPCSA registered professionals: 6 Ethics CEUs have been applied for.
Please Note: To receive CPD points and your certificate(s) this year, there is an annual admin fee of R150 - thank you.
