This daylong in-person retreat in Constantia from 9am for 9:30am - 3:30pm (which includes tea and a nourishing vegetarian/vegan lunch) is an opportunity to find Solace with Sangha in Silence, as we welcome and celebrate the season of Spring. The morning will also be offered online (9:30 - 1pm).
Through mindfulness and compassion practices, we will draw on the containment of the shared silence. Cultivating a practice of self-care and heartfelt presence, we will discover how to access greater ease, well-being and more appreciative joy. This strengthens our courage and our trust in possibilities for new beginnings.
Inspired by the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, the retreat will include teachings, guided sitting meditations, qigong and mindful movement meditation. For those attending in-person, there will also be time for reflection in a listening and talking meditation.
