This popular end-of-year retreat will offer an intensive 7 day experience within the nurturing silence and beauty of Somerset Gift Getaway Farm near Swellendam. A new addition to the stunning accommodation will be some luxury tents from Petrichor Adventures (please see Accommodation options).
In addition to guided and silent meditations in all postures, our embodied experience will be enhanced by daily sessions of qigong, as well as optional gentle yoga and relaxing massages, as well as time in nature to walk and swim. Through mindfulness and compassion practices and Dharma talks which integrate Buddhist wisdom and psychological insights, we will establish a calm and grounded presence, which allows us to move beyond fear, shame and self-doubt. As we create a foundation of courage and trust, our actions can be guided by open-hearted awareness and compassionate wisdom, so that our lives can be filled with greater depth and authenticity, ease and inner freedom.
A pre-retreat individual session is required for newcomers or if you have not attended one of Sue’s residential retreats before. The fee for this is R850 for 50 mins, fully covered by medical aid and can be reduced if necessary.
CPD accreditation for psychologists and other HPCSA registered professionals: 30 General and 6 Ethics CEUs have been granted.
